DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Responsible for upholding company policies and procedures including but not limited to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), processing batches, sanitation, cleanliness, equipment verification and process validation. 
  • Promote healthy communication between workers and management.
  • Maintains job orders by utilizing ERP software, monitoring progress; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing to the team leader or supervisor. 
  • Attends Processing department meetings, communicates, and contributes to team effort to satisfy customer priorities; including raw material planning.
  • Maintains workflow by applying steps of the process; inventory control; verifying processing variables; monitoring control points; communicate corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and encouraging a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
  • Ensures operation of equipment, which includes pumps, processors, filters, and forklifts, and reports issues.
  • Analyzes operating practices, processing job instructions, and recommend changes.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment to all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Verifies job orders, perform conversions, measures, and weighs ingredients to mix and complete batches.
  • Pulls the raw materials from the inventory provided for each batch, verifies every ingredient for accuracy.
  • Cleans and sanitizes equipment and containers used in processing to ensure no cross-contamination.
  • Applies the correct way to send a liquid to a tank or container so that loss of product is minimized.
  • Moves raw materials and finished goods daily and ensures accuracy in the ERP system.
  • Evaluates the use of water, air, and steam so that the mixing of these items is precise.
  • Delivers and assembles raw materials required for liquid production by using tow motor or power jack.
  • Returns partial container of raw ingredients and finished liquids to their appropriate area.   
  • Fills barrels and totes with liquid.
  • Assists in period inventory counts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
